Go Hillsboro

The community has developed a Go Hillsboro program, which is a collaboration by the City, Hillsboro Independent School District and Hill College. Volunteers from all three entities meet on a monthly basis starting in the fall to come up with programs for the year in the areas of workforce, beautification and communications. Projects accomplished through the collaborative effort have included an annual Career Fair for high school seniors in the county, beautification projects in the city, helped implement an industrial maintenance curriculum at the college, a Movies in the Park program, a Hill County Summit, which brings together school and community leaders from across the county to hear state leaders talk about issues facing the residents of the county and state.
