IKO Southwest Selects General Contractor
July 5, 2016
A general contractor was recently selected for the first of four phases of construction of IKO Southwest’s new shingle manufacturing plant in the Hillsboro industrial park.
Bob Moore Construction of Arlington is charged with completion of the 250,000-square-foot facility located on a 60-acre tract of land just northeast of Lee Roy Jordan Lumber and Universal Forest Products.
Crews with Ranger Excavation recently completed dirt work. The company has moved thousands of yards of dirt at the site over the past three months to create a pad for the building.
IKO is scheduled to be in production by the fourth quarter of 2017.
