Workforce Training

True Texas Performance.

Site Selection Magazine awarded Governor Greg Abbott with Texas’ 11th consecutive Governor’s Cup for leading the U.S. in the number of projects landed in 2022. The 1,123 projects, which includes Johns Manville, was more than double that of second place finisher, Ohio. On CNBC’s 2022 scorecard for economic climates, Texas cruised ahead of 45 other states to land at the #5 spot in the nation; the results from Area Development Magazine were one notch better at number four, and the list goes on. Texas has what it takes, and what it takes is a solid workforce. As site selectors and industry veterans make their evaluations, one of the top drivers for Texas’ top rating is workforce and workforce development geared for global performance.
